Do I need to bring you the original key?

Yes — we cut by copying. If you've lost the original, we can pick the lock open and decode the cylinder, then cut a fresh key from there. That's a different job and we'll quote separately.

Can you cut keys to a code?

For most domestic euro cylinders, yes. For mortice and restricted-key systems, we'll need the original or the cylinder itself.

How long does it take?

About two minutes per key once we're set up. If we're already on a call-out for you, we'll cut spares while we're there at no extra charge.
